I have a couple of TradeMe accounts (one for personal, one for In Trade, plus I keep an eye on my parents TM accout).

I received an email today from TradeMe foe a couple of those accounts to say Account Payment Process.

When I check the details, there is a $10 credit to each account labelled 'GI Bonus Listing Credit' that expires 28/06/2015

I checked out TradeMe and couldn't find out anything about it.

Anyone know what that is about?

The link given in the email is to the TradeMe acccount statement page, which I manually went to. And that is where I got that information from; all the email says is "Your $10.00 payment to your Trade Me account has now been processed.  "

I did say that I checked the details.

It is genuine, not a phishing email.

Ran this through my partner who works for TM and she said:

Sounds like bonus credit we were giving out for people who listed something with us by a certain date.
We sent out a DM to members who hadn’t listed anything in a while and said if you list something in the General items category before this date, we’ll give you $10 bonus credit. So GI stands for General Items.
