Hi.

There is an item on Trademe we are keen on. It's new unopened and half the price of one in the shop. Asked about the source of it, the seller described it as an Unredeemed Loan.

I am wondering if the seller is a Pawn Broker and as such whether there is any likely come back on me if I go ahead and purchase this.

The manufacturers website states warranty isn't transferable and he doesn't have the receipt, but I am hoping that given it's unopened, we might be able to convince them to cover it anyway.

Usually the Pawn Brokers on TradeMe state very clearly that they are Pawn Brokers.
