I found this service online while looking for a temporary credit card provider.

Sounds quite good, but I wanted to see if there were any people on GZ that have used it/trust it.

Several podcasts I listen to rate them very highly. I do wish they offered services in NZ.

Unfortunately, as per their FAQ (Other), only available in the USA.

Ah damn. I hadn't seen that. :(

It would be nice if the banks would offer this type of service.

I don't want this to be the end of this thread. We need to raise the visibility of this type of service. Privacy.com has great ideas like

  1. Cards linked to only one merchant
  2. Cards that can only be used once anywhere, ever
  3. Cards with a recurring max balance for subscription services

Will one of the banks implement this type of service? Or do we also need an outsider? Maybe one of the peer to peer lending platforms?
