So I finally got my assessment email this morning, the last one to do so after nearly everyone of my friends and family.
Mine showed I owed $43.69 but they wrote it off. The first time I’ve owed instead of been due a refund.

I had a friend owe a little over $50 and they didn’t write that off, so I’m guessing anything under $50 they don’t bother with? Couldn’t find anything to back that up however.

What did everyone else think of it this year tho? It wasn’t painful in the past to request a PTS through IRD directly, but this new automated way is awesome. Probably has a few people wishing it were the old way still (where you could have a calculation done and then opt to not request the PTS if it showed you owe).

I was owed a whopping $3.89. Appeared in my account yesterday. Still haven't thought about what I'll do with such a large cash injection into my account.. ;)

The IRD promptly paid my return of $1.25 yesterday. I can hardly contain myself waiting to spend it on something.

Think we might celebrate by using the money to buy 100 grams of shaved champagne ham and making some cheese and ham toasties.. lol..

Prior to the end of July was the message I was seeing prior to getting my email/s yesterday.
