So this morning I noticed our credit card balance was a bit out and on checking noticed 2 x transactions I know nothing about.

Contacted BNZ who were fantastic and blocked the payment's and card and are sending a new one out.

Does any know of this name being used. No idea how they got my Credit card details etc.

That's weird as my credit card was used several times at Apple to the sum of about $1100 yesterday.

ANZ blocked my card and said that they can't do much if the payments are not 'cleared' and got me to call back on Thursday.

Looking forward to another 45 minutes wait time.

I also have no idea how they got my card details.

You would think most of the card details would be hashed.

Well, it might be an overseas company using NZ gateways to buy items.

My wife only uses my credit card for: Country Road, NZ Sale, Trenery, Lululemon.

I use my credit card for quite a bit of stuff, ranging from OPSM, Amazon, Paypal, The Market, Netflix and so on.

Does your wife use the following Country Road, NZ Sale, Trenery, Lululemon.

Credit card fraudsters send people to various countries to do frauds in those countries. Likewise ATM skimmers. Of course, MIQ makes that much more difficult.

What's MIQ in this context?

Then I wonder why I didn't get the text messages for those transactions? Weird...

Managed Isolation... Its a bit hard to put the reason you are travelling to NZ is to skim ATMs,  + you have to be a Kiwi and spend 14 days in isolation which means there are plenty of other countries where it is easier to undertake these crimes....

I just checked my credit card and I have a bunch of transactions from Apple as well.  BNZ have blocked the card and issued a new one.

What a pain.
