I can see plenty of people are using their cards in this way but I can't seem to get it to work.

I've tried both my actual and digital cards, but when it comes to verifying the card and adding the CCV I get "this payment method isnt supported" and it ends.

I've tried with GW taking a photo of the card, tried adding it manually, but no dice.

Any ideas ?

That's odd I've had no issues.

Try reinstalling Google Wallet and Wise apps.

I had no issue adding mine - apart from accidentally making it my default Google Pay card - oops. It's nothing to do with what currencies you have loaded is it?

I wondered if it was because there was no money in it.

I saw Google Wallet had place a hold on it so I've transferred NZD10 which hasn't shown up yet.

I've added NZD, EUR, GBP and SEK.

Looks like I'm all sorted.

I removed the extra currencies, added some cash and whilst checking my profile settings I noticed it said the verification hadn't processed yet.

So I ran that again with a different photo ID, I now have a beard which none of my photo ID's have, and when that processed and the money landed I tried adding the CCV's again to Google Wallet and both the physical and virtual cards verified straight away.
