Dunno if this is in the right place but ill try :P

I need help transfering money from my Paypal to my Bank account im with ASB and dunno how to do this. For a start whats the bank number (No this isnt the account number)

Your full bank account number is something like:

11-2222-3333333-44

11-2222 is the "Bank Number" which you would enter as 112222 (6 digits)

The account number will be the rest of the digits.

At least that's the way I read it, but I have never had any money in my Paypal account to withdraw...

I have this setup with BNZ for years now (at least ten years) and I have to say transfer are really fast - about two or three business days.

Wondering if you need your real name on paypal to transfer money to your bank account. Ive noticed some websites they need to match your name with your bank account name. Not knowing ive signed up my account with a false name for security then i cannot assign my bank account to new account :s Help

No, the account name doesnt matter when paying to someone, you can pay into any account you like.

That is why winz and studylink want to see proof of account, because its common for parents to try to make their kids put the allowance into the parents account.
