So the ird requires people to declare services provided to people overseas as 'zero rated' for gst purposes:

Which credit card payment processor would allow me to view all credit card transactions that were from people outside New Zealand? I need to view them all then have it automatically count the total transactions and amount. 

Or if I wanted to could I just pay 15% gst on all my income and not bother with zero rated services?

I'm not sure how a credit card processor could do this.

Imagine the situation where a person with a US credit card who lives in NZ buys your services. How would the credit card processor know that they were in NZ and needed to pay GST?

Can't you just ask the person where they are before passing the transaction over to the credit card processor? Wouldn't it be a good idea to do this anyway as part of understanding who your customers are?

You definitely shouldn't be paying 15% tax on your income when you don't need to!
