Hey Guys, just a warning.

If you have setup automatic bill payments on your account and you bank with ANZ then take note.

A monthly auto payment I had setup to pay my rent each and every month just vanished. Found out with a phone call from my landlord that my rent was not payed. I received no notification from ANZ no nothing.

When I phoned ANZ, I was told by their website support team that this was due to a technical glitch after their website upgrade. Apparently it has affected many customers.

So double check your payments.

You'd think they'd alert everyone.

You'd think they would've rolled back the upgrade as that's quite a serious issue

I have had problems with payments with National banks online banking, which is obviously owned by ANZ. I scheduled a tax payment to be paid on a specific date, and it wasn't paid until a few days later, and they acknoledged it was a technical problem, and said they would get back to me once they had identified what caused the problem. They never did. So errors do occur with online banking.

The new website is supposed to go live this Friday as far as I know. Was supposed to be last Friday but was postponed because of glitches or delays.

Perhaps it was a glitch related to them rolling back? Sounds awful in either case.

Well they did make some changes to the site already. It no longer has the links on the left anymore. Now they all at the top.

Which is horrible. Drop down menu's are no longer cool and are a real pain as we move towards touch based devices.
