Hey

My question is related to bank services with online selling in US dollars.

So I have online store almost ready to be put up.
It will be a ".co.nz" for New Zealanders, but I would like to sell in US dollars.
This way I can sell as cheap as possible without having to worry about exchange rates putting some products cheaper than cost price, and would be a lot less work with price editing.

Is it possible to accept money through a credit card payment in US dollars and retain it in US dollars, without it being converted into NZ dollars?

Like having an account set up to receive/deal in US dollars?

I would like to use ASB, but any bank should be fine.

Also, if anyone knows, is this possible with Paypal as well?

Thanks
Ryan

Yes use paypal and it will do it fine, you can use their free system so you only pay a fee when you make a sale (2.5% + 50cents i think)

Or you could set up a merchant account with them and accept credit cards without leaving your site(provided you have an ssl certificate).

Either way the money stays in US dollars.

Just a point though, if i was buying from a NZ site i would want to pay in NZD.
If i was going to be paying USD i would buy from overseas and get it cheaper.
