As Snapper themselves refuse to give me a straight answer, does anyone out there have one of the USB Snapper sticks? If so, are you able to see any transaction history on their website?

I've contacted them a couple of times about mine as it always shows a zero balance and no transaction history, whereas my old "big" snapper gave me all the info - they just kept telling me to make sure I had the latest version of the software installed, which is irrelevant as the software doesn't provide transaction info.

The transaction history is frequently not up to date - mine is currently showing my balance as at yesterday (topped up this morning with MySnapper). MyHOP shows the same incorrect details as well.

I'd just wait a couple of days - every time it's done this to me that's been the resolution thus far.

I've had it for a bit over a month so far, and despite having fed around $200 onto it in that time and used it around 60 times, the site still has a $0 balance and no history.

They appear to be ignoring my emails now, guess it went into the "too hard" basket.

It turns out that the numbers printed on the side of my Snapper were actually not the numbers embedded in the chip. It also transpired that they weren't ignoring me, just suddenly taking a few days between replies, and a very helpful lady was able to help work out what was going on.

Confusion all around, but worked out in the end.

Now is it worth my time to work out why one trip is $4.18 and the others are all $3.44 to and from the exact same stops...

If your balance went below zero, the $4.18 trip will be because the first trip after you top up will have the IOU amount added to it.
