I'm over on the North Shore and L'acool (old Fine Wine shop) and other nearby spots to fill up my empties with draft beer have closed recently or removed their refill stations. I did find a list below with some recommendations, but in the past the Beer Spot would only refill their own bottles. Any recommendations of spots that will refill for off-license sales?

Growler = half G in NZ

I hadn't either until I went thru a small town in California called Bishop (think Tekapo) and they had them on the menu

Bought one back, the guy at Customs X-ray thought it was hilarious :)

Do bottle stores still offer rigger / flagon fills?

Edit, liquorland north cross and Forrest hill both appear to offer “craft beer taps”.

Most of the Liquorland stores have taps, but the taste is real hit and miss depending on who's on the tap for that period.

Sadly a lot of them around here don't have taps, for example Albany, Glenfield and Constellation Drive.

the last time I was doing this, it was from Glengarry Wines in Kingsland. I think they eventually stopped doing it about 5 years ago (?) and then completely shut up shop a year or so ago.

Hallertau?

Also, "growler" in British slang refers to a woman's genitalia. Just FYI.

A bit of a hike, and their prices are the same as on-premise.

We are lucky in Palmerston North to have several craft bars that offer this service, as well as a New World that does so every Friday/Saturday with guest breweries alternating on the taps. Sorry, that doesn't answer your question but good luck on your search!
