Do you have your smokeping config.d files or Targets in a github at all that is shareable? (minus the friends of course)

I'm also a little disapointed in the lack of update/info, but I expect the team are flat out trying to improve the service. I'm not normally that tolerant but I signed up knowing that costs are lower, in part because they don't run a customer helpdesk service. It's for people who understand networking and who can generally self-support in most cases.
However, the basic service needs to meet minimum standards.
I may be speaking too soon post change but yesterday I had ~30% packet loss, this morning close to 0% - hopefully this particular one is resolved.

A lot of us use @ssamjh smokeping files, along with some that Quic have provided us as part of the beta program.

Another maintenance window has been announced for tonight: https://status.quic.nz/issues/65565913f4e01e58916b012c
Nov 18, 2023 12:00 AM–5:30 AM NZDT
This window is scheduled to continue maintenance started on 17/11 at our Sydney PoP to address excess packet loss to traffic routed through this location.
During this time there will be changes to BGP peering sessions. Brief interruptions and changes in traffic paths may be experienced while this work is taking place.

hsvhel:Later bro, leave a like and subscribe on the way out (or not, my kids watch stuff that says that)
Lmao literally has a Quic referral link in signature, go away shill
A shame they couldn't fix it last night, hopefully they have better luck tonight
Well, following today's maintenance, which knocked my connection off BTW (had to restart the ONT to reconnect), I've now gone from 6% to 2% packet loss. That loss is consistent, as I've performed the test a few times today with the same result. So, much better but still not especially good.
Ping statistics for 152.199.39.108:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 99, Lost = 2 (2% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 34ms, Maximum = 37ms, Average = 34ms
In terms of the download speeds from MSDN/My Visual Studio, it seems sustained around 1.1MB/s. Whilst much better than the woeful performance the other day, it's still a far cry from what I was getting with 2Degrees where these downloads would max out the gigabit download speed. Perhaps 2Degrees cached them. Who knows. They're just across in Sydney, so not why the performance is so bad on a 2Gbps connection.

I have one too. You going to call me a shill? But lets not start with the name calling OK?
@genegeney They had a tough night so another maintenance window tonight to finish this off. It is a pretty complex issue by the looks. Read up a little :) Also I am pretty sure these are served via Akamai so ensure you're using Quic's DNS servers to get a local cache else you'll end up being served from a location further away - Akamai are terrible here.

Ah OK, excellent - thanks. Notice that I'm not doing the whole "fix it now or I'm leaving" routine, so happy to be a bit patient and wait for the network changes and IPoE before deciding on long-term plans.

Yeah same. Normally I'd have a far shorter fuse if these issues were lets say on 2degrees (my previous ISP too) but knew what I signed up for with Quic and honestly through their beta program they've been really open and honest with what is next on the agenda to fix and listening to us rather difficult customers to get stuff fixed. That is why I, and a whole lot of people may appear like fanboys on here.
When you have more technical people on a smaller ISP then problems get noticed a lot more. Other ISP's are not without their problems either. I went from ~400Mbit download speeds on 2degrees due to a random issue with their old network to ~940Mbit on Quic and that to me is a huge upgrade.
Btw - I edited my post above regarding Microsoft downloads. May not help but may be also something to consider if you're not using Quic's DNS servers.

Thank you - have switched across to the QUIC DNS Servers (from Cloudflare, which QUIC suggest are fine to use) and will see what difference that makes.
While we're talking DNS, I cant seem to find the IPv6 DNS servers, the help page only lists the IPv4

@mentalinc I did ask about this as I noticed the same. Currently V4 only for their DNS servers but they'll be doing V6 soon (I guess they're rebuilding them at some point).
