Update from me and thanks @quic - Immediate response and churn complete within about an hour.

Speed isn't quite as fast as I'd hoped but assume that will improve with DHCP?

I'm getting 1.8Gbs to Christchurch and 0.6Gbs DL to Auckland (I'm in Auckland - go figure).

DHCP/IPoE does indeed make a big difference which has been shown in beta testing. Won't be much longer until in production, I'd estimate 2-3 weeks.

For best results for now with PPPoE, ensure you're running a 1500-byte MTU to decrease packet fragmentation due to the encapsulation.

This Bodes well for me!

Looking forward to Hyperfibre with DHCP/IPoE! I ordered Hyperfibre on 23rd Jan, got an email from Quic on 24th saying I'm going live on the 26th; Was very surprised!

Chorus turns up the 26th, installed new ONT, advises he cant liven it as its in his system for the 26th Feb, removes new ONT, installs old ONT and away he goes haha.

Looks like DHCP/IPoE will be implemented before I go live, so works out nicely.
