Well I experienced 2-3 one minute drops today so I don't need the monitoring (which Incidentally was accurate). I don't doubt there are better tools but no need to gaslight me that everything is fine.

Not gaslighting at all? Didn't say everything was fine? Just mentioning there were no full outages and this was only a packet loss / high latency event. This is what I personally see from my monitors (20sec tests also) from a monitoring server I have in Sydney:

This is the same across 5 connections I monitor. But just mentioned some free external monitoring if you were interested in getting an email notification if there was an outage. As I mentioned, the Ubiquiti monitor is not great so take that one with a grain of salt as I believe it counts a few pings failing to a single destination as an outage.

Not withstanding the shortcomings of Unifi monitoring being repeatedly pointed out, respectfully, I don't really need another monitoring solution. My kids scream, my work VC drops, my TV stream buffers then stops, I get an email on my phone from the Unifi controller saying my internet just dropped. It's been happening a lot lately (every second day or so). Whether that's latency or a complete drop is mostly irrelevant to me. I'm reporting it here and so are lots of others by the looks.

Fair call however, if this is actually happening before this week and as often as you say I think you've potentially got another problem outside of what just happened so should do more investigation when an outage occurs in an attempt to determine where it is and this is where external monitoring is incredibly useful also.

Something definitely gone funky again last night.
Lost primary Internet for a couple of minutes about 9:10pm and since then latency is about double what it usually is.

Edit: my unifi SE is set to ping 1.1.1.1 for the latency tests.

This is what I mean... you may actually have something else wrong.

So most of the Beta testers have their own Smokeping instances set up. This is mine, but also is the same across everyone elses. It'll be good if you can provide any further details instead of just posting a screenshot with basically no context eg, where is this testing to or if it isn't yours then who's Smokeping is this?

Edit: my unifi SE is set to ping 1.1.1.1 for the latency tests.

Seems like something is going on with the link to CHC-IX since the packet loss on Friday evening, so this is likely why you're seeing higher ping from your 1.1.1.1 monitor. Anything going further seems mostly the same as usual though and I don't see any obvious major packet loss (except for the specific times already indicated).

26ms is the latency we’re getting here too, to 1.1.1.1.
It’s usually 13-14.

Cloudflare is definitely being rerouted to Auckland from CHCH..

It's not service impacting. I'm also not seeing the packet loss either (except for the third but the last 48 hours has been a lot better, my smoke ping shows exactly the same as my latency to the BNG is less than 2ms).

@AndrewTG got any further details? Logged a fault?

If anyone is going to post saying they’re experiencing issues please provide how you came to this conclusion and details as just saying you’re having issues doesn’t actually help anyone.

I have made multiple posts about how I came to this conclusion. None of them are good enough for you and you deleted my last post expressing frustration at that, calling me a dick.

These are facts.

Well no, the reply that was removed was a snarky response aimed at people asking for more information from you that frankly was out of line...

You posted a Smokeping graph with no context saying you're still getting crappy service. I'm saying that perhaps you may have something else wrong here asking for more information to help you diagnose the issue. So far you've actually provided very little detail.

Could you please provide further detail on your Smokeping? What other testing have you done? Logged a fault?
