Hey now, I'm all the way out in Whakatane and I also get <1 ms to the first hop!
Thanks for the referral. I didn't expect it to be done so fast. It was 3 hrs when I clicked the button and it was already done.
Still have some IPv6 issues but honestly I was planning on preparing everything in the weekend.

I'm in Auckland and I never get <1ms to my BNG in the same city! Best out of 20 is 2.088ms for me. Wonder if Chorus is routing my traffic via Whakatane... ;)
It was a joke: the first hop is my router :)

Not sure why I get 2ms to hop 2 then its back to 1.
Sent from my Mikrotik router in Wellington. (although I've just ordered a Unifi gateway, so will be switching next week.)

Recently moved from Voyager to Quic as of a few hours ago.
Is this normal and is there a way to improve. I do notice the latency when using SSH.
Picture is one of my VPS in USA. Latency on my local NZ servers have not changed, its only the ones outside NZ. Any way to fix?

Without knowing where you're testing from or to - no idea? The US is a big place.
You'll need to provide more details like an IP people can test to but I think that needs another thread or just log a problem report in the Quic portal.

Made the move from Voyager to Quic on 1st Sept. So far so good. No issues, was a very smooth transition.
One thing I'm curious about is, how much data I can use before I exceed 'fair use'. Any ideas?
There isn't a specific number in any of Quic's fair use documentation that I could find.
I don't think they even meter the data so I wouldn't worry.

For regular users and homelabbers I don't think you need to worry. I use anywhere from 10-30TB per month on a 2Gbit Hyperfibre plan and even know of others who use more.
If you're not saturating your connection at all times and schedule backups etc to happen overnight then I don't think you'll run into problems.

Perfect, thanks for sharing your numbers. I'd be maxing out at 10TB/month, once or twice a year.
