Good morning:

it seems like the current 300/100 bandwidth becomes the bottleneck especially when downloading games from Steam/Microsoft.

Thinking about to upgrade to 900/400 plan.

Just wondering if the upgrade will start from next bill cycle, or when I pull the trigger.

Do I need to do anything else (i.e. Restart the router, ONT, etc.)

Thanks in advance.

It is basically moments from when you pull the trigger and upgrade from the site. You'll get an email from their provisioning team with a time then you're activated with your new speed. You don't need to do anything else then make the request and wait a little bit :)

Thanks for the quick reply. I've pull the trigger, and got an email saying that the upgrade will be done today :)

On this, how is billing handled? Does the month in which the change is made get billed at the higher rate, or is it a pro rata portion of the billing month?
