My connection date was 9th. Chorus technician contacted me on 3rd and installed the ONT early. ONT status looks good. I can connect via PPPOE, obtain my static ip address.

But the connection is not working. I cannot even open the quic website. The same set works fine if I connnect the WAN of my router to my CPE(4G). I tried another router but still no luck. I didn't choose VLAN.

I am really confused. Please help.

Here are some screentshot from Quick dashboard.

Logged a fault in the Quic portal so somebody there can check it out?

Thanks for the help, michaelmurfy.

I just filled it. That form looks a little bit scary (the $199 part).

Scares off support vampires but assuming you've done troubleshooting then you should be fine.

It started working after one night.

Is this packet loss normal? @michaelmurfy

I did this on the router.

--- google.com ping statistics ---
2033 packets transmitted, 1977 received, 2.75455% packet loss, time 2036535ms

@eong Yep the packet loss is normal currently - see my Smokeping: https://smokeping.interwebz.nz/smokeping/?target=InternetHosts (don't mind the gaps, they've been testing on my connection today).

This should be corrected with the 2x maintenance windows coming up that will move Quic customers to a brand new network (and in the process easing load from the old network of Vetta's other customers): https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=194&topicid=311313

Basically what is happening right now is the network is pretty strained due to the blessing + curse of a small provider with too many customers in a short time. There was supposed to be a new network implemented before Christmas but this change failed so they're now going with a new approach - see the post here: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=194&topicid=311025

Not long now :)
