Kia ora folks,

Is anyone interested in used Samsung PM983 3.84TB U.2 Enterprise NVME drives? I'm considering a bulk buy from Alibaba.

I've ordered one (@$198USD) to test my use case and I need 5 more if my test is successful. Cheapest I've found so far is $169 USD each for 10+.

These drives have power loss protection and so should be ideal for a Ceph cluster.

Note, this is ex.GST and these require an adaptor to go from PCIe or M.2 slot to U.2. ($20-50 on Aliexpress)

Cheers,
Rhys
