the question should already explain all. But some background: I registrered a domain at crazydomains.co.nz. When I wanted to point to my dns bind9 server on my homenetwork, it turned out that they don't support ipv6 only ipv4. Therefore I'll have to transfer the domain to a registar who does that.

Yep can confirm they can do both IPv4 and IPv6. Haven't tried IPv6 only but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

No charge to transfer in a domain so no harm transferring one to Metaname to check it meets your needs.

I think the OP is wanting the NS records not necessarily the AAAA records to point to their own name servers.

Another vote for Metaname. No issues with self hosted name servers over IPv4 or IPv6.

As a bonus, their support and pricing are quite good too.

Well, their support.

I wanted to support local, but the prices are just too high compared to the competition. All my domains are now with Porkbun, which also has a clean and easy to use interface.

I have my self hosted DNS servers set up on Metaname, using IPv4 and IPv6.  Metaname provide me with three secondary name servers from my primary server, with notify and zone transfer working on IPv4 or IPv6.
