Well my Roku is going great. Easy to setup with unblock US

Some issues.

The Vevo app buffers alot, my internet is ADSL and I get around 15Mbs down on speedtest. Im guessing I need faster net because of the states distance? Will there be any point in buying netflix and vudu? Will they just keep on buffering?

My pc and roku are on wireless. My router is only wireless G no N. If I stream a 1080p file from PC I loose 3G on my iphone???? How does that happen? Was it just a coincidence?

I hate not being able to change volume on the remote. grrrr

Will get a wireless N router help much? I have so many other wireless in my area from neigbours maybe they are conflicting?

Any suggestions

Before trying that have you tried using an ethernet cable?

If it still buffering with an ethernet cable then chances are that a new wireless N router will not work.

Ok hooked the Roku up to Ethernet. Not much difference at all.

Using Vevo it has to buffer and change quality about 3 times the start of each song. Downloaded a speedtest channel and the results to the states are bad. I am using unblock.us

Any suggestions or am I going to need UFB (in 2016)

I really dont want to sign up to netflix or hudu if my net is too slow

I just watched the whole "painstakingly" long Snoopdog video on Vevo, on my Roku2.Yell

No issues.

Who is your ISP? Are you perhaps on an unlimited plan?

I had similar issues when I was with Telstraclear cable. Constant buffering (ps3/Roku only) and I only managed to get it sorted out by switching ISP's.

I wonder if its not the transparent proxy?

Have you tried Vevo on your PC? I'm willing to bet that their will be no buffering issues via your PC!

When I was on Telstraclear cable with unblock-us.com. Everything worked fine from a PC. But the transparent proxy somehow broke streaming on the PS3/Roku.

Is there anybody else on the Xtra 500gb plan successfully using a Roku?

That Snoop video worked fine on laptop and Roku3 here on TCL cable. I always get buffering on Netflix though - guaranteed.

PC Vevo did seem that same.
Maybe i need to upgrade to VDLS? Any gains or not worth it?
