dupka: Just to add more feedback - I've also experienced the new box locking, while it's recording. Both times it was while two channels were recording and I was viewing something stored. Just locked the box and it was no use hitting the front panel/remote on/off button. Had to reboot the box as per old MySky, and both programmes being recorded at the time failed. I had to do this every month or so on the old box, so I hope it doesn't continue at this rate on the new.
My installer also said not to touch the reset button under the front cover where the card is. He said it will delete everything and clear the initial download setup. Anyone know if this is true?
Same here (again). Two channels recording and either watching a third or chaseplaying one of the recording channels, especially if you try to FF/Rew. You can go ahead and press the red button, it's the same as pressing select+goback. Any recordings in progress fail and only offer the delete option. Everything else on the drive stays including recordings, bookings, etc.
Don't be surprised if a firmware upgrade (?) comes out soon severely restricting options available when recording two channels.
P.S.:- My installer actually showed me the reset button and what it does...
Edit: The soft reset buttons are select+goback. I incorrectly wrote select+guide in the original post.
