You can already specify where the output file goes - just use the Output parameter in the ini file.
SJB: You could also Output the file with a name that 4TR would not recognise and then just rename it once EPG Collector finished.
Same result I suppose. Just saves you deleting the old file.

SJB: You could pull the MHEG stuff out of it pretty easily.
It processes MPEG2 sections it gets from the BDA Sections and Tables filter and works through the DSMCC protocol until it can find the EPG files in the pseudo directory structure. It then adds EPG entries to a collection. All that stuff is pretty well contained in a single VS 2008 project.
It's C Sharp - is that a problem?
We haven't put the code up yet because we wanted to make sure it was stable. It's also being tidied (redundant code removed) and commented. It won't be long though.
