Welcome to the Weekly 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray & SteelBook Release Schedule for Friday November 08th.

Many new releases on both sides of the Tasman this week. Please note that Eyes Without A Face should have been released in Oz on November 6th, but, for whatever reason, has been pushed back to Coming Soon. Its great to see so many new announcements, but, as Guff said in one of his posts "who is buying this stuff".

I have decided to cut Mighty Ape from the schedule from today. They haven't been releasing much in 4K and JBNZ usually have the same titles at a better price, although I'm told that MA will match JBNZ prices if asked. They did have a dedicated 4K coming soon section, but since they updated their website, it's no longer available, which makes searching for new titles a bit of a chore. I'm going to keep listing EzyDVD releases, as they offer some decent price differences to some of the JBAU stuff, and they deduct GST without having to go through the procedure that you have to with JBAU. JBAU really should deduct GST without having to be asked.

Some minor fixes and lots of new announcements this week. Also start preparing for the Black Friday sales at the end of the month.

With a reported budget of US$250 - US$310 Million, Gladiator II needs to have a successful box-office run, and be one of 2024's most successful films just to break even.

Released today at Cinema's in New Zealand, early reviews are positive, but will it get people into theatres? Rated R for "Strong Bloody Violence", the film will only be available to watch by an adult audience. It's not going to to be a weekend family film.

Gladiator II should be an excellent 4K Ultra HD release, but I'm not sure if it will be a success at the box-office, especially coming 24 years after the original.
