99% of what Bose make are crap, but Bose QC15's set the benchmark when flying.

I'd personally say that the M14 and M10 BlackBox (Phitek) walk all over them and are half the price to boot. Not to mention that they replaced my 6 year old M14's with a brand new M10 when they had a crack in the plastic, I didn't even have to ask.

+1 for the QC15's... best money I've spent in a very long time. They're that comfortable I even wear them in bed on stormy nights, no more wind noise.

MH75 Headphones. They are the OEM Sony ones from the xperia range. Best sound and noise isolation for cheap. Best bass for in earphones i have ever had out of a under $30 pair of earphones.

I've been using the old Blackbox C14 headphones. Their noise cancelling is awesome but they are a bit fragile

Anyone here tried their newer C20 headphones

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

IMHO Phitek make awesome products and definitely deserve 2nd place on a list - side by side on a plane however I still rank the Bose QC15's at the top of the list. They are the only good thing Bose do make..

+1 to Blackbox. I love my M14s (although I pick up some interference from presumably a navigation beacon every time I pass through ChCh airport).

I think they've been discontinued, though - at least they're no longer on the blackbox website, just the cheaper M10 model.

Yah I have to say the M10 isn't as good as the M14 for sound quality or noise cancelling. It's close, but not quite there.

I can't stand in ear phones - but I love my Audio Technica ANC-7b over ear noise cancelling headphones for flying.

These are the same as the Blackbox M10's (Phitek are the OEM).

Yes, I got the C20 when it first came out. Their noise cancelling is great and sound quality excellent.
Unfortunately for me though, I find in-ear uncomfortable on long flights and need to get them out after a few hours. They are great for sleeping with but my perfect set-up would be to have both so I could switch them out for over-ear headphones as needed.
