i dunno. its set up EXACTLY the same as ive had it for years....i just doesnt bloody work.

i think i'll do a complete reinstall and slowly add back in the data bases and see what happens...

i think ive spent more time mucking around with gotham then all the other releases combined

13.2 so far for me has been the best ever. No issues with weather, thumbnails, library etc . . .
all pretty rock solid and working reliably.

Come to think of it my weather did stop working some time back in version 12 I think. They changed the settings where you had to re enable it.

This thread here doesn't help does it.

not sure if the wmc integration will still work. I doubt it with name change but havent found any info about it. Really handy having the wmc integration

What planet are you on? There is no change to the software, although the first release of Kodi will co-incide with the release of Version 14.0 - ie what would have been XBMC 14.0 Helix will be Kodi 14.0 Helix. It is a name change, nothing more. Just like Telecom --> Spark if you want an analogy.

Where on earth did you get the idea that any features were being dropped? That is complete FUD.

From what I have heard it is far more likely that MS will drop WMC support. In which case you stil have half a dozen PVR backends which work with XBMC anyway.

what I mean is at the moment it is called XBMC and then you have Windows Media Center XBMC integration. So when in Windows MEdia center when you click on XBMC it will look for XBMC. When it changes to Kodi I would have thought the WMC XBMC Integration would still look for XBMC. The only thing is it wont be there as it will be called Kodi and I read they are taking all references to XBMC out. Therefore from that I would have thought it cant run XBMC as it is not there, only Kodi

Does this sound like adult decision-making to you?

I'm not sure why you think otherwise? If you go through the facts, I think you'll find it was done in a mature way. The choices are pretty limited too.
