Dunnersfella: My TV also has the update (VT60) - now to programme a Netflix shortcut into my Harmony...

my VT60 is running 4.876 and showing 'up to date', but no Netflix.... which version are you running?

NZ Ver? If I recall reading, with one of the tv brands mixing with the rollout you have to be cautious of the country version you have it set for out of box. If changed to US or similar to get other online apps and using VPN bypass etc, the NZ one wont install. Or vice versa.

Yep, un-modded NZ version. I do have UnoTelly running, not sure if that will/should affect it

Not sure if the right place to post or if I should create a new post?

I just purchased a Samsung HU7200, a TV that gets the Netflix APP in the USA but is not available to me.

I am using Slingshot Global mode and can use netflix from a PC/PS4 is there anyway to get Netflix smart app on these tvs in NZ?

My parents just bought, a TH-50AS610Z and it says the software is up to date, but no Netflix either, I found this strange for a brand new tv.

For those who do not have their TV connected to the internet you can download the update to a USB stick.

Cheers

PS: I have sent an online form request to Panasonic NZ asking that they respond to this forum.

I'm on Vers 4876-10403-10055.
Have you tried re-setting it to 'Shipping condition'?

didn't try that..  might make a note of all my calibrated bright/contrast/colour settings etc etc and give it a go....

I'm wondering the same thing - have double checked firmware version, installed apps, apps in marketplace, etc on my ST60Z and can't find it. Perhaps they jumped the gun and it was only available for a little while? Has anyone tried the update via USB when already on 4.735?

I had the Netflix app after the last update, today there was another update to version 4.098, now the Netflix app is gone and isn't available in the marketplace either.

Our other Panasonic TV didn't receive a software update but the Netflix app has been removed as well.

Well that's disappointing and a bit of an odd move on the part of Panasonic.

Looks like they just jumped the gun a bit early. Hopefully that means when Netflix goes live here in NZ in March, Panasonic Smart TVs will be good to go.
