Have you tried it with no other programs installed?
No not yet. I was hoping for a solution that didnt require an fresh install, just in case something else goes wrong lol.
I guess I should try it tho as it's pretty irritating. Thanks
It shouldn't take long - you're just installing Windows & wmc. Just put in the basic Windows drivers enough for the machine to work, no gpu software, no Adobe pdf , nothing for the harmony. The extra software often wants to keep itself updated.
Once you've set the machine up like this, make a backup so that you can easily restore the pc back to this point in the future.
Looking at the weather, today looks perfect for this kind of job!
