Here's a quick snap of the charger and its associated USB cable. The pins for the charger fold out from the end.

Edit: it's a switching adapter, 100-240v.

Ok, I see. If it is 19v then it is not the same as @dratsab

Let us know when you get it then.

Late to the topic.

Won one of these from Geekzone. Thanks, by the way. Can't find the charger at the moment but i just plug in a USB cable from the computer when I am at work, or from my Ankor that Steve Biddle  kindly got for me from the US. The supplied charger has fold out power pins but I suspect one from the US will have parallel pins that will need an adapter. You shouldn't have a problem. Great sound, you'll be happy with it.

The earlier models charged through the micro usb port. The later XL models charge through a 19v DC input socket and the micro usb is for firmwear updates only. The later models also function as a power bank with a usb A port for charging phones. The supplied charger is described as an international type but the input pin style may need an adapter to fit NZ power sockets.

It's possible that the Fugoo adapter is not a plug top style but has a mains plug to figure 8 plug like a lot of radios and dvd players. In that case just get one of those cords with an NZ/AUS plug on it.

It depends. Is it a 2.5mm plug? Or something different?

There are many different plugs and an adapter is not really cheap.
