wellygary:Beg or Borrow copies of seasons 1 and 2 on DV, this will make the watching of the frist part of season 3 sooo much more understandable, there is a whole lot of back story that is important and while you will get the important stuff in flashbacks, this series does actually treat the viewer as an adult and expects them to know what is going on, rather than spoon feeding it all to them.

Fair enough but it is not going to happen, hard enough to watch any tv or movies with two under 5 yr olds that alone watch two previous seasons. I am sure I am adult enough to work it out and I am looking forward to watching this season.

With transparent logos, I've always thought, with a bit of video processing and mathematics, you should be able to restore the image underneath the logo.

If you can capture the logo on a black background, you'll know how what is being added to each pixel, you should then be able to subtract the colors that have been added to in real time, negating the logo and restoring the image underneath.

Project anyone?  :)

I emailed them to complain about it being on c4 and not tv3 since its not HD on C4 - never heard back.

Already seen it in SD with lousy stereo, so why rewatch it?

this may be of little help t the issue at hand, but JB Hifi was selling seasons 1 and 2 for $20 each not so long ago, and i picked up season 4 for $30 last week.

...oh and dont forget Gattlestar Galactica Razor & the Resistance webisodes! (not that i'm obsessed or anything)

This is the best I have found for *.avi logo removal. Had certain issues with the Prime logo at times for some reason.

Think we'll have to wait a while for anything workable inside MPEG4-H.264 TS files, though. Hell, can't even get a simple method to transcode to a compressed format without going through the seven steps to hell. Then there's commercials' removal.
