Pretty happy with the Veon for the price and quality offered... Just mind you - use a soundbar as the sound is not great at all.

I have a 42 inch Veon that I use as a monitor. Bought it a few years ago for $300. Best value for money I have ever spent. Like everyone says, the audio is worthless so I just have it plugged into an old stereo amp. Works brilliantly for my use case, which is just casual browsing and some streaming.

The sound is not TOO bad but I feel dialog gets drown out by any other sound in the scene so I usually have to set the volume a bit higher on the scale so I can understand the conversation - causing the family to complain the whole thing is too loud when there's a scene with an audio effect.

A good soundbar (or the Amazon Echo Studio I am using now, connected via optical out from TV) makes a huge difference.
