On orcon gig fibre. Its not CGNAT they have a real ip address (Dynamic by default).

 

You wont need static for plex.

 

I port forward publicIP:32400 -> 32400 on my internal plex lan. 

 

Got remote users using it now.

Thats working as it should, Direct Play without transcoding.  Lucky you :-)

Great thanks! Setup port forwarding and am getting direct play across 4G...

Hi, just curious, on my Plex i have port forward my private IP address. No issues with connectivity with family and friends. Am i suppose to change that so its my public IP address i port forward?
