I have had nothing but problems with Panasonic , it struggles to work out what the format is and keeps flicking between different UHD formats e.g Dolby vision and other UHD formats. It is particularly bad with Apple 4K  TV’s new and old version . It also does this with the Xbox series x as well . I have also had issues with the TV connecting to a Bose soundbar the sound drops offline , it only works correctly with an optic lead. I have just had it replaced with new tv same model through Panasonic and 3 days in still have the same issues . My Samsung however just works with exactly same set up. I would never buy another Panasonic tv

I see in another forum you bought a JX700. Reviews are really bad on the 600 and 700. If you can't get a refund maybe try asking for a credit. You can probably get an 800 or 900 for what you paid now.

The guy that came out and took the TV away did recommend the jx900 , your right they are about the same price now. The other red flag for me was he was saying as they are using a new operating system and firmware updates were often needed to fix the bugs:( I am not sure if I should stick with the brand . I need to go back to new bolds and chat about a replacement and options

It sounds more like bad/poor HDMI cable situation, did you have these issues with playing media using the native tv apps or is it only with externally connected devices?

I think it is an HDMI arc issue myself , as the sound worked fine with optic . They tested it using their own 4K cables so not an hdmi cable issue . I even swapped out cables myself as well as tested 4 different 4K Apple TV’s with it as well as a PS5 and Xbox series X . I have 2 Samsung tvs in different rooms works no issues. The tech thought motherboard issue but new tv has same issue

@movieman

I went and had a look at the X90J in-store today and the JX900, after seeing the Sony I've also ruled out buying the Panasonic.  The X90J really popped out and was way more vibrant, at least in the shop.

Did you end up buying the SOny X90J?  I'm pretty keen and Themarket have a 10% off code which brings it down to $3055.  Unfortunately, they don't have the X95J available otherwise I might have gone for that.

And, a funny question, can the feet be moved inwards at all to fit on a smaller entertainment shelf?

75X95J was available on Wednesday morning when I had a look. I was going to ask Sony for a price match (free shipping). You are correct, it isn't available on The Market website now. Still available at the Sony Store and Noel Leeming, but at $4299.

I will have to wait a bit longer then.

Not sure about the positioning of the legs. It seems that options are different for each country

After alot of back and forth i thought I had decided on the larger 75x90j over the 65jz1000 oled for my 2.7m viewing distance. However Smith City have the 65jz1000 down to $2999, plus another $300 off on cashback. Pretty tempting.

Maybe wait a year for a Panasonic 77lz at a relatively affordable price?

Your comparing a larger size LED vs OLED right?

IMHO its not even a fair comparison if you care about PQ the JZ walks all over LEDs

This.
At 2.7m a 65" OLED is amazing. I purchased the 65JZ1000 myself a couple of weeks ago, and I'm telling you right now.. You won't regret it!
Chances are, you'll notice all the imperfections of a 75" LED at that distance..

Yep, 75 inch LED vs 65 inch OLED.

Of course The PQ of the OLED JZ1000 was excellent and really opened my eyes, however they popped out of my head seeing how immersive the 75 inch was. For me the larger size and very good PQ is better than the smaller size and excellent PQ.

I ended up upgrading to the TH65JX950Z good queens birthday price at 2k, the TV is working perfectly with the same cables and set up. I swapped round the TVs at the same time, the Samsung works fine as well. Panasonic thought it may be the Bose soundbar but had no luck . Thanks for the help I rechecked all the cables but all work so bit of a mystery

Great you got it sorted. Also that you got a bigger and better Panasonic out of the deal!

So did the retailer and or Panasonic take care of you?

Both really , new bolds and panosonic have been amazing great to deal with . Newbolds said panosonic and Samsung are the most responsive and easiest to deal with. The new model is great and works perfectly soo far
