Hi there

I am in pretty much the exact same situation. I currently have the Yamaha RX-A770 and want to upgrade to improve sound quality.

I am seriously considering the MRX 540 but wanted to know how that compares to the RX-A4A. Did you hear them both? How did they compare? How much are you liking your Anthem?

Cheers

I didn't listen to them side-by-side, so I can't comment on the RX-A4A. But the MRX 540 is great. Very very happy with it. I am sure the RX-A4A is very good as well, but compared to my A2020 the MRX 540 is a huge step up.
