0k, thanks. Do you know if it's possible to change the TV brand in GTVS without doing a factory reset, would be a pain to go through adding back in all my apps etc.




 I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Tried that Cooca brand, GTVS couldn't control it :-(

I recall just select it and choose forget or something like that.

Yes it does show up in the link.
Amazing that in this day and age it is so difficult to connect a TV to a speaker!

 

The only way I can get sound out to the speakers is via BT or Optical, both work fine and Im really happy with the performance of the soundbar but of course, no CEC without HDMI.

 

I am thinking its just an issue with HDMI on this Veon TV, it certainly wont be my next TV brand purchase!

Very odd. It does sound like the same problem I had before I found the sequence. In my case I could not enable the Veon hdmi options until I hit the sequence.

Trials and restarting things between setting changes.

In the end I'm guessing the hdmi-cec and HDMI audio out comes from my GTVS.

Also, could you confirm which HDMI port that has ARC? I think I have tried them all but I no longer have the manual for the TV.

Oh thanks. So HDMI 2 from GTVS to TV then HDMI 1 or 3 to sound bar? Have I got that right?

Hi and thanks for all your help, sorry for all the questions. I have just hit a brick wall, tried everything ut no HDMI audio out anywhere so I am giving up and using optical and 3 remotes :-(
