Update:
I have managed to wire using a 5m cable.

However Ascent have confirmed with their supplied the following cable does not suffer these issues.

They cant promise that a cable with work with any video card or display.

HDMI uses LVDS, which is a low cost but lousy way to send high speed data. There was a time that the output of devices wasnt able to be equalized to counter long lossy cables, but I think it is now allowable to equalize when sending.

Otherwise you can slap a repeater on the cable if its still no good. I have done 20m at 1080p60 off a repeater, without it at the source end, the best it would do was a 576p or a sometimes 720p but glitchey like you are seeing (but mainly just snow over it)
