It cant.
What I was saying was use this only for the IR and use the product in the other link I supplied for the HDMI connection. But as another member pointed out, it will cause interference on other devices that use the 2.4ghz range.
You can, however get these devices in 5ghz.
...
The other thing is, how hard is it to get another cable from point to point, because this will fix all of your problems...
sen8or: I'm assuming that you can't run one of these if you run the cat5 through a network switch?
