Dunnersfella: My TV also has the update (VT60) - now to programme a Netflix shortcut into my Harmony...

my VT60 is running 4.876 and showing 'up to date', but no Netflix.... which version are you running?

My VT60 showed 'up to date' too (can't recall the version number), but navigating to the app store prompted me that an update was required. Once this was done, I was able to see and download the Netflix app. Haven't got it working yet though, although I haven't tried really hard yet.

This was done three days ago, FWLIW.

Stink. Not a real biggie for us though. We use our Apple TV for our NetFlix viewing.

Yeah same for me. I use the Amazon Fire TV in the lounge for Netflix but had been using the app on the TV in the bedroom while waiting for the Amazon Fire TV Stick to arrive.

Oh good luck with that, I think you may have to build in micro second delays. Let us all know how you get on and what you did pls.

Happy New Year smile

Well, so far I've got my remote 'prepped and ready to go'.
I simply created a new activity and loaded the Netflix logo, chose the TV and amp in my setup.
Then I 'Customized the activity' and added a command. The command is 'Apps', with a 2 second delay - followed by another command 'OK'.

As the TV instantly goes to the first app (top left) I simply made space for the Netflix app in that position.
I've trialled it by putting the YouTube app there and giving it a dummy run.
However there is no cursor control on YouTube, so I hope that will work correctly when Netflix NZ actually shows up on my TV.

With just 10 days to go, and reports of this showing up on playstations and LG TVs, has anybody got it back on their panasonic?

Netflix has been released but still no netflix app for older Panasonic models (e.g. ST60).

The interesting thing is that Netflix IS compatible and available on these screens in the US market.

Have posted a message to the Panasonic fb page here: https://www.facebook.com/PanasonicNZ

Let's see whether they respond.

There was a link I saw recently that listed the Panasonic TVs that support the Netflix app (can't recall where). The ST plasmas were not on this list.

Ha!.. I read that page yesterday and this line looks to be a new addition... pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday:

"2012/2013 Panasonic Smart TV Models will be updated with the Netflix App before the end of May 2015."

Good news!

Did anybody in this thread with an ST60 have the app during the period it seemed to be available on the VT60\other panasonic TVs?

I did for a couple of days. Haven't checked it today, but expect it to be gone.
