Max budget was $2.5k and have been following thread closely. Shortlist is between Ex780 and Sony 8500 I think. I like that I get more tv (58") with the Pani! Here's my watchlist anyways. Any suggestions on which is better? Or where I can get best reviews?

networkn:

A 32" OLED for the Bedroom with HDR and Android OS is high on my wish list right now.

I was in Harrods a week ago and they had some of the most breaktaking TV's I've seen.

I'd love a Sonos Soundbar for the bach at some stage.

OT but: Do you mean Sonos Playbar or Playbase? The newer Playbase got rave reviews when it was released a couple of months ago.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

That's the Pricespy app, as viewed on a phone. They have both an iOS and Android app available.

Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice..
I have a budget of $1500 max. I'm after a tv for the bedroom, 40-50 inch size.
I was considering a Samsung (Not because I'm a Samsung fan) because they have the on-demand apps which you can't get on the other brands and the room does not have an a connection to make Freeview Plus work. This isn't a deal breaker without it as do want to get the best tv for my money.
Thanks so much for you help, it is most appreciated.

I'm just slowly dying while I'm waiting for something to come out that isn't ungodly expensive to replace my Plasma with. You all need to start buying OLED to drive production rates up and prices down, thanks.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

I am also in the market for a new 4K possibly OLED tv. Im not sure on size yet. Either 42" or there abouts if its for our living room. Or maybe 55" if i decide to put it in the lounge. So my eye is out for deals. I hear the LG OLED's are great TV's. They are a bit more than what i would prefer to spend. But I dont have a 4K tv yet.... So I may consider it.
