foxy38: been told by fugoo I need a19v charger Would this be a plug that charges a laptop in nz?

Doesn't your fubar come with a charger? Most sellers say it does.

Google Fugoo charger, look at image results, you'll see a laptop style charger with the mains cable connected via a readily available Fig 8 style cord. Get borrow steal local version of this cord.

Relax!

And please don't attempt to use your laptop charger to charge the speaker.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Last time.

You will get the correct charger in the box with the Style XL. What probably won't be correct is the cord with the mains plug and fig 8 plug that connects the charger to mains. This would be what the correct one would look like if it had insulated pins on the mains plug. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CABDNX9054/DYNAMIX-2-Meter-2-Pin-figure-8-power-cable-Figure

My local op shop has a large bin full of misc cords like that for $1 -$2 each.

Hope you have access to power on your holiday :-)
