Does anyone know which of the low range 43" 4K TVs is the best? I don't care about smart features.

These are the TVs I am looking at:

Samsung NU7100 - Based on the cheaper price I'm guessing this one isn't great.

Sony KD43X7500F

LG UK6400PVC

That sony is pretty low on the scale too.

Hah hunting for 43 myself and have the exact same list... leaning toward the LG UK6400PVC

Doesn't seem to be stocked at Harvey Norman any more?

It's going on the wall in the bedroom, will need to have Plex app available along with Lightbox/Netflix.

We have a Samsung 40 (non 4K) currently is it worth waiting to see if prices drop?

Oh any idea if we chuck the existing 40 on the wall if the 43 can go on the mount?

Cheers!

How does a non HD source look on the new 4k TVs ?

Freeview in the regions isn’t HD (sat) so most normal tv is SD... do the tvs upscale at all ? Does it make a difference ? Does it look worse ?

looks fine or better. not worse. i still don't believe in "upscaling". you can't create pixels that wasn't there. i call it upsampling - filling in the gaps with something pleasant.

Just saw this - thought it was interesting:

(I asked for this thread to be unlocked - now I'm wondering if this post should be in Gaming)
