Interested in this in Mediaportal.
Can anyone confirm it will work with DXVA and check using Graphedit?

Re. my earlier post, I Ghosted to a prior image, one without this codec installed. Uninstalled my PowerDVD package, installed this codec & could not get LiveTV working in MP. Graphedit would not play an H.264 .ts file. Maybe macraenz is correct, but I still felt for some reason the channel changing was slightly quicker, & the intermittent block artifacting was gone. Can't confirm either with facts but am going to check FPS & CPU useage before & after Totalmedia codec install.

mcraenz: @:Little, Can you confirm that mediaportal is using this codec, I as I mentioned above it seems not to like ts.

For some reason I cannot get graphedit to work on this pc. I have uninstalled powerdvd 8 and ffdshow has h.264/AVC disabled so I am guessing it must be using the arcsoft codec. CPU usage for MP is about 10% when idle and 13% when watching the HD olympics.
I can watch recorded tv (.ts file) through Arcsoft Totalmedia Theatre.

Latest MP SVN refuses to use this codec and falls back to PDVD8. Graphedit confirms this (Arcsoft video decoder sits down the bottom inactive)

Bump.
I have this working with mediaportal, however when i first installed it im sure it was working fine, now it drops almost a quarter of the frames, freezing every couple of seconds. High jitter too. This is all on recorded TV + samples, not connected to the aerial atm.
It doesn't do it in Media player classic, however isnt exactly stable in that either, it just crashed.

Card is 8500GT. Back to PDVD8 by the look, however it appears to work fine on the main PC with the 4850.

Has the trial expired? Mine is still working fine with this codec.

It only happens in Mediaportal, it appears to play mostly fine in media player classic, was just a bit unstable though. Maybe i'll update my graphics drivers, however the latest ones contain nvidia physx which is unwanted.
