I think JBHiFi tend to have competitive prices. Border's has a poor selection IMHO (well the Wellington one anyway). Whitcoulls tends to sell full price and the Warehouse selection is spotty across outlets. None of them had Quantum that I could find.

As for selling overseas ones legally here, there should be no issue if you are a private seller. I think the legality question (if indeed one does exist) only applies to commercial retailers. I tried to exchange a few US sourced PS3 games at JB as tradeins for some new games but they would not accept them saying they lacked the NZ Censor Classification. But I don't think I would be in trouble if I sold them on Trademe

James Bond: Regardless of the odd sale, whats the cheapest place in NZ to buy blu-ray titles?

For example, Quantum of Solace is $49 at Borders. Is there a store that sells blu-rays for less? (i.e. $40-$45)

I don't like buying blu-rays or DVDs from overseas stores as I'm not able to sell them (legally) if I want to in the future (No NZ classification sticker)

The first thing I do when a get a DVD is to remove that crappy sticker from the cover..

In my opinion, no one who has a job is lowly. I hold anyone who works, in high regard.

But this is really off topic.

I see JB HiFi have Bladerunner for $25 which is supposed to be good in HD.

Amazon UK has dropped the price of a bunch of Blu-Rays to 10 pounds and many are in the buy 3 for 2. If you haven't got the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy they are 10 pounds each and in the buy 3 for 2 sale.

I picked up:

Die Hard 2 [Blu-ray] [1990] - £9.98
The Transporter [Blu-ray] [2002] - £9.78
Behind Enemy Lines [Blu-ray] [2001] - £9.78

Worked out to NZ$70 including postage.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased from Amazon UK. Got Zulu (been hoping this would be released here), RE: Extinction and FF. Last two were just fillers, only really wanted Zulu.
