cyril7: On another note, the wee silver Pace230, does it support S-Video out of its SCART's or not, the Pace site indicates not, but I would be interested to know.

Hi Cyril,

The DS230 does indeed support S-Video output through the SCARTs. All SKY decoders will do this except for the Pace 5512 (DSR2000) because it has a separate dedicated S-Video DIN plug.
