Out of interest, those people who did get the app, did it let you watch netflix from your US account (via UnblockUS DNS, or Globalmode) , wondering if it would reject US accounts for NZ TVs?

sidefx: Did anybody in this thread with an ST60 have the app during the period it seemed to be available on the VT60\other panasonic TVs?

I did for a couple of days. Haven't checked it today, but expect it to be gone.

And it worked? If so it's really disappointing that they now seem to be delaying it - it makes me wonder why.

I didn't actually try using the app. The last time I tried entering the Unotelly DNS into my Panny, it was more painful than pulling teeth. They call them smart TVs, but they really, really aren't :-)

I had it it on my ST60 during that time and had no problem accessing Netflix USA.

I don't understand why we now have to wait until May, it worked fine.

My Panasonic (18 months old) cannot get it. My Xbox One can and it looks good on that. Plays with no issues so far.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Panasonic replied to my facebook post:

"Your TV Model (ST60) will have the Netflix App by the end of May. Engineering work is being carried out on 2012/2013 TV models at the moment.
Please watch this space for information on specific dates.
Thanks!"

Good news.  If you are in doubt about your model, contact panasonic on their page to find out whether your tv will get an app upgrade: https://www.facebook.com/PanasonicNZ

Had a system update this morning.  A few new apps but still no Netflix.  Anyone have the Netflix app on their Panny yet?  My TV is quite recent, (AS700 series).

If you reset your AS700 to 'shipping conditions' do you have it?

Really? Still not showing on mine. Still on 4.735?

YEP still not showing on mine either (Panasonic TH-L50E6Z software version 4.735), though there were 6 other new app's yesterday just not Netflix.

I have a brand new Panasonic Blu-Ray Freeview box (the most expensive one) and it's not on there either. A few new apps appeared in the market when I checked just now, but none of them are Netflix. Not such a drama as it's on my old Sony Home Theatre hub, but the interface for that is pretty clunky.

Thanks for that - I checked and did a software update last night and didn't see it.
