I'm in the same boat as above.
Currently using laptop for lightbox etc & WDTVLIVE Hub for downloaded content but would love to replace with a little HTPC.
If these things do the trick I'm keen to order.

Do we have an update from people who have these already?

I have to say the performance of this box is pretty average, it took about 3 hours to install patches before it was usuable. I have no chance to play with it beyond that but I had hoped to use it as a general pc for the kids and as a media player but it may only be suitable as a media player.

Yah Windows Updates. It took a LONG LONG Time to do them, admittedly there was 800MB of them, but still.

I'll test with Remote Wake up with a wireless keyboard over the weekend, but I expect it will be ok.

Is there any reason why it wouldn't? Surely pressing any key on the keyboard would wake it up? Or is there something I'm missing?

I can't see why it wouldn't but would be great to know. Just one of those things that would be a huge PITA if it didn't happen.

Haha, hopefully not. I'm not a big fan of pita's... of either variety.

about the same price.

A little more expensive, and the CPU isn't as good. But storage is larger, so that's always a plus.
