Update, new xbox one controller could pair but axis were all wrong, so in a FPS you were just spinning like mad, as the stick axis and the triggers were mixed up, also some buttons where completely wrong (start was reload or something). Can't pair a DS4/PS4 controller at all. ordered these controllers to try with them

since they're made by same company and say official supported, also theyre pretty cheap

update, paired a OUYA controller (I had one laying around in a box unopened, no idea where I got this from....). it paired fine, but similar problem as the xbox one controller, axis and buttons are all wrong. X isnt X etc.

still seeing if I can get a DS4 paired. I paired one of those to my sony tv and it was fine/easy, and all the buttons etc were correct in all games. but thats sony and sony....

not sure if they will work with a usb hub... would want to connect plug in a usb mini drive in one with a network cable as well. have a 128GB sandisk usb plugged in at the moment and that seems to be working fine.

graphics seem ok, need to get a controller working before I can heavily test this though....

That's the biggest selling point for me. I currently have a bunch of boxes (Roku, Chromecast, Freeview box) connected to the TV - I'd love to consolidate down to just the TV. I might be just dreaming...

This is what I have now, Sony TV (Andriod) with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and Plex. I also use the in-built recording function. Can't use TVNZ OnDemand as I'm going through a VPN but 3Now doesn't seem to do a region check so works fine (using inbuilt Freeview plus)

I am confused!!

Why did you need this? Are you saying the Xiaomi Mi Box does not have an in-built Ethernet port? I ask as I would prefer an in-built port and the Aliexpress listing you linked to says in at least 2 places that it has ethernet.

It does not have an ethernet port. On the back there is the power, the usb, the hdmi and the optical inputs.

Yeah, no Ethernet port. Does work with some USB to Ethernet adapters apparently. Not sure if all or Just some.

Mine arrived yesterday. I have watched a few 1080p shows from my Emby server and it works fine with no transcoding required. It is much more responsive than the Roku 3 we were using.

Mine arrived on Monday. Everything works great except for Live TV streaming in Kodi. I get reasonable performance on SD channels, but the HD channels are a mess.

The live TV streaming via HD will be bad cause of the wifi speed - I have the same problem with my devices here linking thru to mediaportal. On wifi they barely work at all, on ethernet they work better but still not perfect (I have to use an ethernet over power adapter cause of where its situated).

I can stream 1080P Bluray rips without any problems. It seems the current firmware on the device cant handle deinterlacing 1080i. I can get better playback using the tvheadend Live Channels app, but it's still not usable.

I am considering getting one of these, am wondering if the unit comes with a NZ power supply plug or a US one? and is it 5.2v 2.1A? And it is a US build you see on Amazon?

I ordered mine off aliexpress and chose a AU plug but it was just an EU plug and a chinese deathdapter so I just use the EU plug in my universal powerstrip.

they are universal input voltage, not even looked at what its output was, just labeled it with what it is for which I try to do with all adapters now.
