Movieman:

Another of the Paramount Hybrid sets has been announced.

Pre-order from Amazon US for US$10.99. Release Date: May 21st.

Amazon have free shipping on all of these titles if you spend US$49 in one hit; Five titles would do it.

Video: Dolby Vision/HDR10 • Audio: Dolby Atmos/Dolby True HD 7.1 • Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1 • Runtime: 119 Mins.

I had 5 things in my basket from Amazon US, one of which was the Shutter Island $10.99 thing. It was the only thing that didn't get free shipping.

My bad. I didn't check all of them, but the ones that I did check all had free shipping. Shutter Island doesn't I see.

Anyone else buying the Paramount Hybrids; Best to check for free shipping before adding to your basket.

EDIT: The free shipping offer was available for these titles this morning when I posted. Now they are not, which now makes them not such a good deal..

I believe that this US SteelBook release for MADAME WEB will be the same artwork for Australia/NZ (if NZ gets it).

I don't know if any of you collect TV Series, but Amazon US have the Prime Video Series; JACK RYAN: Season Three at a sale price of US$19.50. With free shipping if you spend US$49 or more.

Seasons One and Two are also available at just over US$20 each, but no free shipping options for those.

It took me about 3 attempts over a week to find a way to hit the free shipping for Field of Dreams and The Prestige and till get something I wanted. In the end I have a slightly discounted Martin Scorsese's Casino to thank. Almost bang on NZ$100 for the 3.

Welcome to the Weekly 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Release Schedule for Thursday March 14th.

Australia always gets release information before we Kiwis; Therefore, I will add Australian releases to the weekly schedule. I will only include films that have not been announced for a NZ release and I will delete any titles that are announced for NZ later. That way we will know of all the upcoming releases for Australia/NZ. As always I will post any new titles as soon as they are announced and add them to the schedule each Thursday.

Click on the post# links for the individual release information (artwork, specs, etc.) where available. Just click on the link and it should take you to the correct post. Then click on the back arrow to return to the schedule.

Individual film artwork and specs will be posted as soon as ALL info is available

Release dates are subject to change.

New Releases will be displayed for one week after release date.

Prices quoted are from JB Hi-Fi New Zealand's website.

Still no sign of an Australia/NZ 4K Ultra HD release for THE BEEKEEPER. Grossing over US$150M at the worldwide Box-Office and making almost four times its reported production cost; I thought that it would be nailed on for a 4K release.

The good news is that the US 4K Ultra HD is up for Pre-order on the Amazon US website. The current price is just a placeholder, expect it to drop nearer the release date of April 23rd. Currently its offering free shipping if included in a US$49 order.

Pleased to report that JBAU shipped my order on Friday 8th March and it arrived today (Friday 15th March). Only took a week to arrive and I was even given a tracking code! Last time I ordered from JBAU was in 2018 and my order took 2 months with no tracking, so definitely an improvement!

On another note, not too sure if I missed the memo/announcement, but I was quite disappointed to find the local Steelbook release of Wonka is not the version themed like a chocolate bar released overseas. Instead the Steelbook that arrived is just a rather plain picture of Wonka. Just a heads up to anyone looking to purchase the local release and wanting the version available internationally.

Yes, you must have missed my announcement of WONKA SteelBook Edition #3197876. I also thought that we would get the Walmart US SteelBook and I waited quite a while to see if the artwork would get updated, but sadly, not.

I try to post the correct artwork for all releases even if I have to wait a few weeks. So far I've been 99% correct, so be sure to look for the announcement post# on the weekly schedule. If you don't see a post# next to the listing, then I am still waiting for the final artwork or disc info.

That's a good result for shipping from JBAU. My last order took over two weeks. They must have upped their game at last.
