Yes, 65"
A couple of hundred off the tv and then allowed me to use the $300 voucher at the same time as I was buying a soundbar.
My new TV comes tomorrow. I'm going from a Sony 65X850E to an LG 77inch B4. I came close to going MiniLED but got an excellent deal on the B4 and can't resist those inky inky blacks.
It's a room that only gets diffuse natural light so it'll be great.
Looking for an 85" TV. Not looking for oled as its a relatively bright room, and would definitely be out of budget at this size.
I am considering the X90L, but that feels a bit expensive and would prefer something slightly cheaper. Does anyone have any recommendations other than that? If you've purchased the X90L 85", how much did you purchase for? i am hoping for some sort of sale during Black Friday
Just on the verge of pulling the trigger on an LG G4 83” OLED.
Does anyone have one of these that can share how they are finding it? Pros/cons?
Will be coming from a LG C8 (2018) 65” OLED.
Dedicated light-controlled media room with viewing distance of 2.5m.

Yup, it doesn't get much better than that right now... even the mahoosive 97" G4 at an eye-watering $47k doesn't have the MLA panel. At least the 83" size gets it unlike the G3 last year.
Relevant Rtings review, the only real comparison is the Samsung S95D and that only goes to 77"
Even coming from the C8 you will notice a step up in brightness + HDMI2.1 feature support if you game.
G4 - That's a nice TV. Are you wall-mounting the 83? Is it possible?
Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
I’d read that in some markets the 83” comes with a wall mount and a stand. Sales person said it came with both. I’ll be wall mounting regardless.
I’ll stick with the bracket I already have probably (it’s for TVs up to 90”), rather than use the included flush mount one. I have those electric movie theatre style seats and am usually reclined a bit, so like to angle the TV forwards a little so the screen is perpendicular to my viewing angle - can’t do that with a flush mount.
Best mate picked up a 65" C4 for $3195 on Black Friday HN deal to replace his 65" LG QLED. As with all new OLED owners he's VERY happy haha

toejam316: I believe unless something has changed the G series don't come with stands, so wall mount only
Picked it up today, haven't opened it yet, but was given a separately packaged carton with a stand in it. So I can confirm in NZ the LG G4 83" (and presumably 77") come with both the wall mount kit and a stand.
It looks like the stand for the 77", 83", and 97" noticeably lean the TV backwards. The smaller sizes don't lean back.
I'm wall mounting so makes not different to me, but something to be aware of for anyone wanting to use the stand on these larger models.
