I have the DC3217IYE and I have noticed the Wifi drops out regularly.  Certainly enough to make it unusable.  Fortunately I have a Powerline Ethernet adapater and my NUC has an Ethernet port so i'm just using that and it works great.  I had assumed the problem was some incompatibility with my older (3 years ish) Netgear N600 Wifi Router.  My Wife's recent Centrino Laptop has trouble staying connected as well.

Perhaps it is a conspiracy to get people to upgrade their AP's (thanks Intel!).

I've got Windows 7 and Media Portal front end installed on it with a backend TV server located separately and it works a treat.  Streams 1080P over Powerline Ethernet (500Mbps) just fine.

I'd be interested to know if other NUC users are having drop out problems with their Wifi and if it works well for them what brand/model of AP they are using.

My Intel NUC i3 with Ethernet uses the Centrino WiFi adapter with a http://www.asus.com/Networking/DSLN55U_Annex_A modem/router and have constant WiFi issues when the computer starts up/wakes up.
